It's cold outside!

Recently a blizzard blew into our small town. Dylan was last seen in his bedroom watching a movie. Within a few minutes he had gone outside with no shoes on, a blanket on him. The gate must have blown open from the winds. Dylan got out through the gate. People noticed him, they had a hard time even driving, They saw him fall. he was heading to the Caseys store. Him and I walk over there sometimes. Someone saw him and brought him home. THANK YOU! You were his angel and ours that day. A tradgedy could have happened.

Getting help for Dylan

Could you imagine getting a little help from Social Security for your severely Autistic son and they send you a letter saying they over paid you during the summer when you were off from teaching school. Now Dylan will get around $100 a month which won't even cover his pull ups. Crystal has a college education with two majors. She is head pre -school teacher and Director over the pre -school at the Center for the Arts. She gets minimal amount from her ex husband to take care of the kids. She struggles. What does the Country want these parents to do? The ones who take care of their kids by themselves. Go on public Assistance????????? Come on. She is able to work and wants to work. But she needs help. Come on America.... Wake up. Let's take care of our disabled and elderly. God Bless from a frustrated Grandma.
