My meeting with City Council

Well, I haven't really run into to many obsticles with this project. That was until I went before the city council to ask if Dillysplace could be put there. I felt like I was being grilled by a detective. HA. Anyway just need to get more information to them. Our city is almost bankrupt. So I can see their concerns. They are worring about what will happen in ten years. Who will be responsible for maintanace. The good Lord diddn't bring me here to leave me here. I just need to do my part and have some patience. If it doesn't work out we will just look for some land.

A wing and a prayer

Dylan is back in school and getting on a schedule again. He is getting so tall. Cleaned his room today. He had things hid in the closet that he 's not suppose to eat. Cheese balls ,cookie wrapper. cleaned under his bed found 6 sippy cups. and a couple things that turned my stomach. Held on with a wing and a prayer, got me through the worst. How Crystal does this everyday is so amazing to me. I love Dylan and would do anything for him but I wonder how high her stress level is daily. Called over there house this evening and Crystal was taking Dylan on a ride. He loves to ride around town with the radio blaring. When things get rough as they do alot, a little prayer and thanks for all we have and all we don't have. It could be worse. If ever I had a Hero , it would be my daughter Crystal, Dylan's mom.

Dylan

Dylan's new thing now is to flush the toilet and put his hands down there and let the water cascade over his hands. Crystal swats him on the butt and tells him no and washes his hands. She said he just stares at her like mom I was only playing in the toilet... Dlyan has been sick the last couple of days. Just laying around watching tv. He was running 105 temp the first day. He is still running a temp but not as bad. Yesterday he had diarrea. Poor Crystal did laundry all day. It leaked from his pull up. What an awesome mom she is. Dylan couldn't have asked for a better mom. I took two of the granddaughters to a movie the other day. Dylan misses out on so much. We stoped by the Christian book store and got Dylan the new Veggie tale movie. When I handed it to him. He had a big intake of breath, got a big smile on his face and started clapping his hands. Crystal has this one memorized now too I'm sure.HAHA

GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.

I received a letter in the mail today, I would like to share it. My heart is soaring. Ms Kelly, A couple of months ago I came into Conway Springs and went door to door doing the Preaching Work as a Jehovah's Witness. I received some literature from you on behalf of your grandson & Dilly's place. with the intention of sending a donation. The economy hampered that intention which is why it took so long to get this to you. I am sorry it is not more. I have saved the literature hoping things improve and we can help more. My family's prayers are with you and may God Bless your endeavor. We Started Dilly'splace on faith. God led us here, he would see us through. Complete strangers from all over the country have been praying and donating to Dilly's place. God is Good.

Reach out and touch somebody's hand

Life's most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?- Martin Luther King, Jr.
