A Simple Act

We headed over to Poppy's Pumpkin Patch. Some friends of ours own it. When we first got there, Dylan started to have a melt down in the depot where they have crafts. He jumped up in mom's arms and she carried him outside. Dylan is about 5 feet tall, maybe 100 lbs or more. Crystal carries him out and they go for a little walk around the property. He very very noisy, making alot of sounds. When I was finished shopping we traded places. We walked out back and they had a mule. A small work truck that pulls a cart for hauling pumpkins. Dylan climbed in it. Dean came over and took Dylan for a ride. He was so happy. He sat right next to Dean with a big smile on his face. When they came back and got out, Dylan went over and grabbed Deans hand and led him back to the mule. It made Dylan's day. He was so quite after that. And smiling. One simple act can change someones day. Weather you are autistic or just having a bad day. Stay strong Crystal. Thank you Dean!
